Why Ginza, why outcall
I was in a business hotel a few blocks off Chuo-dori for three nights, the kind of room where the desk doubles as the luggage rack. Ginza doesn't really do storefront fuzoku. It does department stores, sushi counters with eight seats, and hostess clubs with no sign on the door. If you want a massage that ends somewhere a spa wouldn't take you, it comes to you.
Mrs. Dandy (ミセスダンディ) Ginza is listed on CityHeaven as an esthetic/aroma shop, outcall type, Ginza. Phone 03-6456-4155. Hours 11:00 to 5:00 the next morning, no days off. Official site: m-dandy.com/ginza_dandy/. The shop calls itself a 回春エステ (kaishun esthetic, a "rejuvenation" massage built around the groin and the finish) and pitches itself to two kinds of men: guys who've done seikan esthetics before and want to compare technique, and guys who've only done plain aroma massage and want to see what the other half looks like.
It's the flagship of a big group. The footer lists Dandy branches in Shinjuku, Ikebukuro, Shinagawa, Shibuya, Kinshicho, Ueno, Roppongi, Haneda, Yokohama, Maihama, Nishi-Tokyo and Saitama, plus sister brands. That matters, because big groups run tight systems, and tight systems have rules you should read before you pick up the phone.
Three courses, one question: who touches whom
The board has three tiers. I'm quoting the CityHeaven price table as of today:
| Course | What it means | 60 min | 90 min | 120 min | +30 min extension |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Dandy Course | Therapist stays in her esthetic outfit | ¥15,000 | ¥21,000 | ¥27,000 | ¥8,000 |
| Special Dandy | All-nude, full-body contact | ¥19,000 | ¥25,000 | ¥31,000 | ¥10,000 |
| Dandy Hybrid | All-nude, contact, and you're allowed to touch her | ¥22,000 | ¥28,000 | ¥34,000 | ¥12,000 |
Longer slots run to 150, 180 and 240 minutes, and every course climbs at the same ¥6,000 per half hour. On top of that: a ¥1,000 membership fee for new customers, ¥2,000 for a photo nomination and ¥3,000 for a repeat nomination (本指名).
The official site calls the Special course the one for first-timers and the Hybrid the runaway favorite. Read the descriptions closely and the ladder is honest: you pay ¥4,000 to get the outfit off, then ¥3,000 more for permission to use your hands. That's cleaner than a lot of shops that bury the same distinction in an option list.
There is an option list too: micro bikini ¥3,000, topless ¥3,000, washing ¥3,000, mutual massage ¥4,000, a ¥5,000 oral option, and a "Hybrid pack" at ¥10,000. The board doesn't spell out what's in the pack, so ask before you pay for it.
The number that matters: ¥6,000 vs. ¥12,000
Look at the Hybrid row again. Going from 60 to 90 minutes at booking costs ¥6,000. Adding 30 minutes once she's in the room costs ¥12,000. Same half hour, double the price. Special is ¥6,000 vs. ¥10,000, Dandy is ¥6,000 vs. ¥8,000.
That's the whole strategy in one line: decide your length on the phone. If you think you might want 90, book 90. In a hotel room at midnight, with the oil already warm, nobody negotiates well.
The shop also sells a web-only Hybrid table that moves the same prices 15 minutes later: 75 minutes for ¥22,000, 105 for ¥28,000, up to 255 for ¥58,000. Same money, a free quarter hour, as long as you book online.
How I booked: "Destiny" omakase
The campaign that hooked me is called 運命のおまかせキャンペーン, roughly the "leave it to fate" deal. You book without a name or a photo, the shop sends whoever fits, and you get ¥3,000 off the total. Conditions: 90 minutes or longer, and no repeat nominations.
As a New Yorker I don't trust anything I can't see first. But I've also been to enough omakase counters in this town to know that the chef usually knows more than you do. So I called around 9 p.m., said Hybrid, 90 minutes, omakase, gave the hotel name and room number, and left it at that.
My bill, built from the board:
- Hybrid 90 min: ¥28,000
- Membership fee: ¥1,000
- Transport, Chuo-ku: ¥1,000
- Omakase discount: −¥3,000
- Total: ¥27,000, paid in cash
Cash was on purpose. The official system page says cards must be in your own name, payment is lump-sum only, and overseas-issued cards may not work. If you're flying in, don't bet the evening on your Amex. Transport goes up by ward: ¥2,000 for Minato, Chiyoda, Shinagawa and Koto, up to ¥5,000 for the far wards, and ¥6,000 and up for Kawasaki, Yokohama or Urayasu. Staying in Ginza itself keeps it at the minimum.
The session
She arrived on time. Thirties, I'd guess, composed, dressed like she was going to a gallery opening, which in Ginza she might have been. The shop's flow runs in seven steps, and it went exactly the way the system page describes:
- Shower together. On the nude courses that's part of the program, not an afterthought. She undressed me first, which the site also promises.
- Oil. The default is unscented. If you want aroma, you have to ask. I asked. Pick a light one if you have a meeting the next morning.
- Full-body massage, real pressure, back and legs first. Not a warm-up she was rushing through.
- Kaishun. Groin, inner thighs and the pressure points around them. The site says it's meant to wake up circulation and stamina. I'll say it was slow, deliberate, and very hard to stay relaxed through, which I suspect is the point.
- Seikan, the "sensual" stage, and a hand finish.
- Shower again to get the oil off, and she left on the dot.
The Hybrid permission to touch is real, but she set the pace, and that's the right call. The rulebook is long and clear: no 本番 (full intercourse), no requests or negotiation for it, no hidden cameras, no swapping contacts, no asking her out. Break a rule and the session ends with no refund, and the shop says it may check your ID, call the police, and bill ¥2,000,000 in damages. Ginza is polite. It's not soft.
Things that would've cost me
- Cancellations. Free before she leaves. Once she's on her way, ¥10,000. Once she arrives, if you're asleep, unreachable, or in a hotel that won't let her up, you pay the full fee. Check your hotel's visitor policy before you call.
- Tattoos. The refusal list includes people with tattoos (刺青), along with drunks, gang members, and anyone sick. If you have ink, ask on the phone instead of hoping.
- Your nails. They ask you to trim them before the session. Do it in the afternoon, not when she knocks.
- Timing. An early-bird deal takes ¥3,000 off between 11:00 and 18:00, and a late-night deal adds 15 free minutes after 23:00. Neither works with a repeat nomination, and the early-bird one doesn't stack with other discounts. I booked at 9, so I hit neither. If you're flexible, 23:00 is the sweet spot.
There's also a review deal: write one on the spot after the session and get ¥3,000 back or 15 extra minutes. I passed. Nobody writes a good review with the oil still on.
Verdict
Mrs. Dandy is a big-group operation with a Ginza address, and it reads like one: a clean three-step course ladder, a long rulebook, and a discount for almost every hour of the day. The massage was the real thing, not a five-minute formality before the main event.
The trap is the extension. ¥12,000 for 30 minutes in the room versus ¥6,000 at booking is the most expensive impulse in Ginza short of a gift-box melon. Pick your length on the phone, bring cash, and if you're feeling brave, let the shop choose. Mine chose well.
