Sekuhara Fitness Club, Shin-Okubo: A Gym-Wear Deriheru, Two Courses, and the 'Muscle Discount' Fine Print

A weeknight in Shin-Okubo with Sekuhara Fitness Club, a sportswear-themed deriheru: the reverse-esthe course vs. the 'full fitness' course, what the review-only Muscle Discount really saves, why the 30-minute extension never pays, free-hotel zones, and a foreign-visitor price list that runs about ¥10,000 higher.

Elon
ElonThe name is a joke you either laugh at or don't. Under it is a plain Shin-Okubo delivery shop with leggings, sports bras and a lot of oil, plus a price sheet with exactly one trick worth knowing. The "fitness" course costs ¥2,000 more than the oil course, and that buys you a say in the outfit, nothing else. The review-only coupon gets you that course plus ten free minutes for less than the cheap course's sticker price. Book the coupon, take a hotel near the station, and never buy the extension.

The name first, because you're going to ask

The shop's full name is ぴちぴち食い込み!セクハラフィットネス倶楽部. The English portal spells it Pichipichi Kuikomi Seku-hara Fitness Club. Roughly: "skin-tight, riding-up, sexual-harassment fitness club." Subtle it is not.

The pitch on its own page reads like a stand-up bit. These days there's compliance this and nuisance ordinance that, and a guy can't even say hello to a woman anymore, so here's a place where it's "100% legal." I'm from New York. I've seen billboards with worse jokes. But let's be clear about what's actually for sale. It's a costume roleplay with an adult professional who took the booking, set her own list of what she will and won't do, and can end the session. The shop says so in its own fine print: some women don't do certain plays, and a woman can be pulled for the day if she isn't feeling well. The "harassment" is a theme, like a nurse outfit is a theme. Treat her like a coworker you actually like, and the night goes fine.

Shin-Okubo on a Friday night

Shin-Okubo after dark is K-pop merch stores pulling down their shutters, cheese-tteokbokki steam, and the side streets toward Kabukicho turning into hotel signs. That's this shop's home turf. There's no reception office. It's phone booking only at 03-6457-6061, and they send a woman to your hotel. Hours are 12:00 to 4:00 a.m., no days off. On the Cityheaven listing they file it under Okubo/Shin-Okubo. The official site says they'll deliver to hotels or homes across the 23 wards.

The roster page showed 61 women, and 15 of them were marked working or on standby that day. They're photographed in tank tops, sports bras and leggings, and every profile I clicked had a catchphrase pitched somewhere between gym flyer and wrestling promo.

Two courses, one real difference

The menu has two parallel price ladders.

Time Reverse-esthe course Full fitness course
55 min ¥18,000 ¥20,000
75 min ¥21,000 ¥23,000
95 min ¥26,000 ¥28,000
115 min ¥31,000 ¥33,000
135 min ¥36,000 ¥38,000
155 min ¥41,000 ¥43,000
185 min ¥48,000 ¥51,000

Both are built on the same idea: she's the "instructor," there's stretching, and there's a frankly heroic amount of oil (the menu literally says dobadoba, "gushing"). The fitness course adds one thing. You can specify a well-known sportswear brand and add leggings. That's ¥2,000 a session for picking the outfit, and ¥3,000 at three hours.

The basic play list is identical for both and is longer than most shops print. Unlimited finishes within your time is listed as standard. Sportswear is the free costume. A bikini is ¥1,000 and a nurse outfit is ¥3,000, which tells you which costume they actually want you to pick.

The fees around it

  • Photo nomination: ¥2,000. Repeat nomination: ¥3,000.
  • Joining fee: ¥2,000, but marked ¥0 "during the campaign."
  • 30-minute extension: ¥10,000.
  • Transport: free to hotels in Shin-Okubo, Okubo and Kabukicho, ¥1,000 elsewhere in Shinjuku ward, ¥2,000 for Shibuya, Nakano, Toshima, Chiyoda, Minato and Bunkyo, and ¥3,000 and up beyond that.

The shop also promises nothing beyond the base fee and no swapping in a different woman from the one you booked. That's a promise worth having in writing in this neighborhood.

The Muscle Discount, decoded

The coupon page has one deal, and it's the whole game. It's called マッスル割, the "Muscle Discount." It's valid every visit for new and returning customers, covers every woman, and applies to the fitness course only. The catch is in the label: 口コミ限定, review-only. You agree to post a review afterward, and you say "Muscle Discount" when you call.

What it does is drop the joining fee and give you ten extra minutes at the cheaper course's price:

Muscle Discount Fitness list price Reverse-esthe list price
65 min ¥18,000 55 min ¥20,000 55 min ¥18,000
85 min ¥21,000 75 min ¥23,000 75 min ¥21,000
105 min ¥26,000 95 min ¥28,000 95 min ¥26,000
195 min ¥49,000 185 min ¥51,000 185 min ¥48,000

The coupon advertises "¥4,000 off total plus 10 minutes." Their example works like this: 55 minutes at ¥20,000, plus the ¥2,000 joining fee, plus a ¥2,000 nomination, is ¥24,000. The coupon version is 65 minutes for ¥20,000. That math counts a joining fee the main menu already shows as waived. Against today's sheet, the real saving is ¥2,000 and ten minutes. That's still a good deal. Basically you get the outfit pick for free and an extra ten minutes on top.

The math I did on the Yamanote platform

Don't buy the extension. Thirty extra minutes cost ¥10,000. On the cheap course, 55 minutes plus an extension is 85 minutes for ¥28,000. Booking 95 minutes up front is ¥26,000. You pay more for less time.

The jump from 55 to 75 minutes is the best step on the sheet. Twenty extra minutes for ¥3,000. After that, every twenty minutes costs ¥5,000.

Your hotel choice decides the transport fee. Pick a hotel in the free Okubo–Kabukicho zone and the base price is close to the full price. Anywhere else, the transport fee gets added on top.

My call that night: the Muscle Discount at 85 minutes, ¥21,000, plus the ¥2,000 photo nomination, to a hotel two blocks off Okubo-dori. ¥23,000 all in. The woman on the phone confirmed the coupon without blinking and quoted a forty-minute wait. The instructor showed up on time in the leggings I'd asked for, ran a genuinely decent stretch routine before anything else, and treated the shop's ridiculous name with exactly the eye-roll it deserves. The oil claim is not marketing. Bring a hotel with a good shower.

If you're visiting from abroad

The shop has a listing on YOASOBI HEAVEN, Cityheaven's site for foreign tourists, and the prices there are different. It shows 55 minutes at ¥30,000 "nomination fee included", up to 185 minutes at ¥83,000, with a 30-minute extension at ¥20,000. The Japanese sheet's cheapest 55 minutes with a photo nomination is ¥20,000. So it's about ¥10,000 more at the entry level, and the gap widens on longer bookings. The English page doesn't say which course its prices are for. I didn't find a rule that bars foreign customers. The pricing just tells you who it's written for. If your Japanese is good enough to book on the phone, the Japanese sheet is the one the shop prints.

Bottom line

Take the name with a grain of salt and look at the actual setup. It's a sportswear-and-oil delivery shop with two near-identical price ladders. The review-only coupon is the only way the pricier course makes sense, and the free hotel zone covers the whole Okubo-to-Kabukicho strip. Book on the coupon, stay in the free zone, choose the length you want up front, and be decent to the instructor. She's the professional in the room.
