I Was Wrong About the Sale: A Thursday Return to Sanchome no Okusama, Uguisudani

A month ago I told readers the ¥13,900 Super SALE at Sanchome no Okusama would die on September 14. The shop's own news feed shows it has never died: it's been reissued in two-week chunks since August 1. A Thursday-morning return to Uguisudani to correct the record, count the October roster, and price the new Super 70.

I Was Wrong About the Sale: A Thursday Return to Sanchome no Okusama, Uguisudani
Elon
ElonThis one's a correction, and I'd rather write it than have you find it at the register. Last month I wrote that the ¥13,900 sale at this shop would end on September 14 and told you to hurry. It didn't end. It hasn't ended since August. The shop just keeps announcing it two weeks at a time, so every notice looks like a deadline. I went back to Uguisudani on a Thursday morning to see what else I got wrong. The answer: one thing big, two things small, and a new deal that I think is the best one on the board.

Back on the north exit, 8:55 a.m.

Uguisudani at nine on a weekday is a station that hasn't finished waking up. Salarymen heading for the Yamanote, a guy hosing down the sidewalk in front of a love hotel, crows working the trash. One minute from the north exit sits the yellow, orange and white building that the shop's own site points to so you can't miss it: Sanchome no Okusama, 1-6-15 Negishi, the only store-based health in Uguisudani. Hours 9:00–23:00, phone 03-3874-0044. Same as last month. Good.

I didn't come back for the building. I came back because of a sentence I wrote in September: "Assume the ¥13,900 dies on the 14th." I'd matched the shop's news post (September 1–14) against Cityheaven (through September 30) and backed the shop. That sounded like good practice. It was also wrong.

The sale that keeps getting extended

Here's the shop's own news feed, every Super SALE notice, in the order they were posted:

Posted Sale window announced
Aug 1 Aug 1 – Aug 14
Aug 14 Aug 15 – Aug 31
Aug 31 Sep 1 – Sep 14
Sep 14 Sep 15 – Sep 30
Sep 30 Oct 1 – Oct 14

Five back-to-back windows and not one day without the sale. Every two weeks the shop posts a fresh "it's on!" notice, usually on the evening the previous one runs out. Cityheaven didn't bother with the chunks: its coupon currently reads September 30 – October 30, and its event page agrees.

So the portal, which I treated as the sloppy source, has the more accurate picture of how this works. The offer itself hasn't moved a yen: 50 minutes, free choice, all time, ¥13,900 tax-inclusive, no stacking with anything. Against the ¥17,300 on the board, that's still ¥3,400 off.

The lesson I'm taking: at a shop that runs a sale in two-week chunks, the end date tells you when the next notice goes up, not when the price goes away. Can I promise it continues past October 14? No. Five renewals in a row is a pattern, not a contract. But if the date is the only thing pushing you to book this week, relax.

What October added: the Super 70

The October event list runs to ten items, the same as September's, and one of them is new and good. Super 70: free choice, 70 minutes, ¥19,800, all month, nothing stacks on it.

The shop advertises it as "21,800 → 19,800," a ¥2,000 discount. It's the same trick the coupon badge pulled last month: ¥21,800 is the pre-tax column, and nobody actually pays it. The real board price for 70 minutes is ¥23,900 tax-inclusive. If ¥19,800 is all-in, and the event doesn't say either way, the actual saving is ¥4,100, bigger than the 50-minute sale's ¥3,400.

Per minute, all-in:

Option Price Per minute
Board, 50 min ¥17,300 ¥346
Board, 70 min ¥23,900 ¥341
Super SALE, 50 min ¥13,900 ¥278
Super 70, 70 min ¥19,800 ¥283
Weekday morning, 40 min ¥10,800 ¥270

The Super 70 costs five yen a minute more than the 50-minute sale, and you get twenty extra minutes, which at this shop means you get to use the bath without watching the clock. The event copy literally sells it that way: heal in the bath, take your time with the rest. If you were going to buy 50 and extend 20, that's ¥13,900 + ¥8,000 = ¥21,900 against ¥19,800. The Super 70 wins by ¥2,100 and you never have that awkward extension conversation. This is the deal I'd book. Ask at the counter whether ¥19,800 is tax-inclusive before you hand over the card.

The rest of October, what's still there and what's gone

Promotion Window Worth Notes
Super SALE, 50 min free Oct 1–14 (portal: to Oct 30) ¥13,900 stacks with nothing
Super 70, free all October ¥19,800 stacks with nothing
Weekday morning, 40 min October weekdays, 9:00–12:00 ¥10,800 first 5 customers, no nomination
Phone-booking discount all October −¥1,000 survives nomination; stacks with regular/member card
NEW FACE all October −¥1,000 per course women with the newcomer badge
One Month all October −¥3,000 per course within a month of debut; plus two ¥500 vouchers for a survey
3-chome Day 3rd, 13th, 23rd, 30th, 31st 300 points Cityheaven web booking
Mitene! Oct 13–23 ¥1,000 voucher nominate the woman from her Mitene post
Chotto dake Kanshasai Oct 24–31 ¥500–¥2,000 in vouchers by course length

September's Hajimete no Chu (first-nomination discount) and the Cityheaven review discount are gone. If you were saving a review for the ¥1,000, that's over.

Coming at the end of the month: a Hare-kei Tokyo–Saitama joint event tied to the 2026 Miss Heaven election, October 28 – November 16. Vote for an entered woman between October 28 and November 3, show the vote screen at reception, and you get half-price nomination, a ¥1,000 voucher, and 1,000–3,000 Cityheaven points depending on how many votes you cast. The shop's own Hojo Sara is a nominee. Half off a ¥2,000–¥3,500 nomination is the only discount on this whole board that touches the nomination fee itself, so if you're a nominator, that's your window.

Unchanged and still the best-kept secret in Taito-ku: any three expired discount vouchers from any Hare-kei shop in Tokyo, Saitama, Yokohama or Kawasaki take ¥1,000 off on the spot. The voucher-heavy events at the end of October will refill your drawer.

Thursday's floor: the morning sale, tested

The weekday morning sale is where I'd been most confident last month: 40 minutes, ¥10,800, 9:00 to noon, first five customers, free choice only. I'd said the real limit wasn't the five-customer cap but the number of women in before noon. This Thursday proved it, harder than I expected.

The shop's own site, today's lineup:

  • 9:00–12:30: one woman, and she's already marked 予約満了, fully booked.
  • 10:00: the second arrival.
  • 12:00: three more, which is too late for the sale.

So on October 8 the morning sale has one bookable woman for its whole window, starting at 10:00. If you walked in at 9:00 on the strength of the event banner, you'd get a polite apology. Cityheaven's version of today's list doesn't even show the 9:00 woman. It starts at 10:00, and it also leaves out a newcomer debuting today at 14:30. The shop's own site lists twelve women for Thursday; the portal lists ten.

The rest of the week, from the Cityheaven schedule (shop site where they differ):

Thu 10/8 Fri 10/9 Sat 10/10 Sun 10/11 Mon 10/12 Tue 10/13 Wed 10/14
Women on shift 12 12 13 13 13 9 5
Starting before noon 2 4 8 7 9 5 3
Morning sale running? yes yes no (weekend) no (weekend) no (holiday) yes yes

Three things jump out.

The weekend flipped. Last month Tuesday was the deepest day and the weekend the thinnest. This week it's the reverse: thirteen a day Saturday through Monday, nine on Tuesday. One month of data isn't a law. Check the week you're actually booking.

Monday the 12th is Sports Day. The morning-sale calendar on the shop's site leaves it blank, so no ¥10,800 that day, even though nine women start before noon. That's the cruelest morning of the week: the deepest morning floor, and no sale.

Wednesday the 14th is the last day of the current Super SALE window, and five women are on the schedule. Schedules fill in late, so that number will probably grow. Still, if the sale doesn't get renewed, its last day is the thinnest on the board.

Best morning-sale day this week: Friday the 9th, four women starting before noon. (The portal lists the 9:00 woman twice, 9:00–12:30 and 9:30–18:00. That's one person, not two.) Call at 8:30 when same-day phone booking opens. First five customers, and with only four women in the building, the phone line is the real race.

The roster, a month on

Fifty-three names on the shop's roster page, including Amane Sora, who's listed but doesn't start until October 20. Last month I counted fifty-seven on Cityheaven, so the sources differ, but the working core is the number that matters. Thirty-one women have at least one shift on this week's Cityheaven schedule, almost the same as last month's thirty-two. Roughly two in five names on the roster still aren't coming in this week.

New since my last visit: Saotome Momo (joined October 1), Sorano Sumika (debuts today, 14:30–17:00), and Shiraishi Yuzu (September 14). All three qualify for One Month, ¥3,000 off any course for a month from their first day. On a regular 50-minute nominated booking, that's ¥17,300 + ¥2,000 − ¥3,000 = ¥16,300. That's the cheapest way to choose your own company here outside the Miss Heaven week, cheaper than the ¥18,300 for a phone-booked nomination with anyone else. The catch: One Month doesn't stack with anything, and it ends on the woman's one-month anniversary, not the shop's month-end.

The schedule's age range this week is 25 to 48, and each day's average lands between 33 and 35. That's what the sign promises: hitozuma, jukujo, women with other lives who come in around them.

Still true from last time

I re-checked the things I said in September that weren't about dates, and they hold:

  • Board unchanged: 40/50/60/70 minutes at ¥14,000 / ¥17,300 / ¥20,600 / ¥23,900 tax-inclusive, 20-minute extension ¥8,000.
  • Nomination ¥2,000, ¥3,000 or ¥3,500 depending on the woman. No public list of who's in which tier.
  • Phone booking from 8:30 same day, 12:30 the day before; web booking tomorrow and the day after, free choice only.
  • Credit cards with no surcharge.
  • The shop shows you her photo before it takes your money, and says in writing that you can walk out at that point.
  • House rules in plain Japanese: no pushing for intercourse, no refusing the shower or the mouthwash, no photos or recordings, no asking for contact details, no alcohol, no bringing your own toys. Break them and the session ends with no refund. Nothing about foreign customers either way, but there isn't a word of English anywhere on the site. "Heaven mita" (I saw you on Heaven) at reception still does the coupon work.

Verdict, revised

Item Sept Oct
Will the ¥13,900 sale end soon? "Yes, the 14th" Five renewals in a row. Probably not.
Best value on the board 50-min sale Super 70 at ¥283/min with the bath unhurried
Weekday morning sale ★★★★★ price, ★★☆☆☆ floor Same, plus a holiday blackout on 10/12
Cheapest way to nominate phone discount One Month newcomer, ¥16,300 for 50
Best day this week — Fri 10/9 morning; Sat–Mon for depth
Portal accuracy on today's lineup — ★★☆☆☆, misses two of twelve
Shop accuracy on its own sale dates ★★★★★ ★★★★★, just misleading in two-week pieces

I like this place more after the follow-up, not less. The board is still the same ¥800-plus-¥330-a-minute machine, the rules are clear, and in October the best deal got better. My bad advice last month cost no one money, as long as they didn't panic-book. Now that I know what to look for, here's how I'd book: Super 70, free choice, by phone, on a Saturday, with the photo check at the door as my out. Hold on to your expired vouchers. And check the news feed on the 14th, because I'm betting there'll be a fresh notice up that evening.
