Two Minutes From the Turnstile
Nippori is a working station, not a party one. The Keisei Skyliner from Narita comes in here, along with the Yamanote, the Keihin-Tohoku and the Nippori-Toneri Liner. On a Friday morning the east exit is commuters, fabric-district shoppers headed toward the textile town, and old men with racing forms. No neon. Nobody calls out to you on the sidewalk.
Mama Lemon Nippori (ママれもん日暮里店) is listed as a married-women (hitozuma) hotel health in Nippori/Nishi-Nippori. Its official site puts it a two-minute walk from Nippori Station and says it has been running since 2011. The address is Higashi-Nippori 5-chome in Arakawa ward, in room 402 of a building called Rex Building. It's a sister shop of the Mama Lemon branches in Kasai, Kinshicho and Omiya.
The hours are the part a morning person should notice. Phone reception opens at 9:00, the shop opens at 10:00 and runs "until last," and the official site says walk-in reception at the counter goes until midnight. I went at 10:30. There's no rule against that, and it's when the cheapest password is in effect.
How a Hotel Health Actually Works Here
If you've only used delivery shops, here's how a hotel health works. You don't order a woman to your door. You go to the shop's reception room, choose a woman there, pay, and then go to a nearby hotel. She meets you there. The hotel is your cost. The coupon page says plainly that the room is extra, from ¥3,000. Count that in before you call anything here cheap.
What makes Mama Lemon different is the reception room. Its listing makes four claims, and the first is the one worth the trip:
- You choose from photos, 10 to 20 or more per woman.
- The shop keeps you from coming face to face with other customers while you look.
- They show "unretouched Polaroids." Their own words are baka-shōjiki na shōbai, which means honest to the point of being stupid about it.
- They'd rather you think the woman is better than her pictures than the other way around.
The official site also says looking at the photos is free. You can walk in, go through the album and leave without paying a yen. And the listing says some "secret wives" don't appear online or in the album at all, so you have to ask about them in person.
That's how it went for me. I came up in the elevator, went through a short check-in, and sat alone in a partitioned booth with a binder. The Polaroids were exactly that: flat light, no filter, normal skin. After a decade of web profiles with faces hidden behind a hand or a sticker, it was oddly refreshing. Nobody else came into my booth, and I didn't see anyone in the hallway.
I picked a woman in her late thirties, judging by her profile and her photos, and I'll keep her name off the page. Her pictures looked like a real person with good posture and a nice smile. In person she was the same, and a little better. The shop would call that its "greatest happiness." I'd call it a shop that set expectations correctly.
The Password Math
The rack menu, from the system page:
| Course | Rack price | What's included |
|---|---|---|
| 40 min | ¥10,000 | basic play |
| 60 min | ¥15,000 | unlimited finishes |
| 80 min | ¥19,000 | unlimited finishes, shared bath, pink rotor |
| 100 min | ¥23,000 | same as 80 |
| 120 min | ¥27,000 | same as 80 (¥26,000 for first-timers) |
Then the top page lists the day's passphrase (aikotoba) deals. You say the word on the phone or at the counter. The page shows it with the middle blanked out, something like 『朝!〇〇60』, and tells you to get the full word from the official site. I'm not printing it here. It changes, and the shop wants you to look it up. Here's the structure as posted today:
- "Morning" 60 minutes, open to 7 p.m.: ¥13,000 (rack ¥15,000)
- 80 minutes, open to close: ¥17,000 (rack ¥19,000)
- 100 minutes, open to close: ¥22,000 (rack ¥23,000)
Do the per-minute math and one course stands out. The 80-minute password course is about ¥212 a minute. The morning 60 is about ¥217, the 100 is ¥220, and the rack 120 is ¥225. The 80 is also the shortest course that includes the shared bath and the rotor. The discount shrinks as courses get longer: ¥2,000 off the 60 and the 80, but only ¥1,000 off the 100. So the 80 is where the deal is.
Two numbers to avoid. The 30-minute extension is ¥8,000, about ¥267 a minute, so book the longer course from the start instead of extending in the room. And the 40-minute course works out to ¥250 a minute and drops everything that makes this shop good value.
There's also a Heaven Net coupon for first-timers: 60 minutes for ¥13,000, the same as the morning password. It also cancels the ¥2,000 photo-nomination fee, which the system page already marks as free "for now." The ¥2,000 joining fee is waived "for now" too. Returning to a woman you've seen before costs ¥2,000 as a regular nomination. A phone nomination is listed at ¥2,000 under the coupon's conditions.
My bill: ¥17,000 for the 80-minute password course, plus the room. With no joining fee and no photo-nomination fee, the hotel was the only extra.
Inside the Eighty
The hotel was a short walk. She arrived a few minutes after I'd checked in, which is how it's supposed to work. The shared bath that comes with 80 minutes and longer is a real bath, not a quick rinse, and it does a lot to settle a nervous first-timer. The official site calls the shop a fūzoku shoshinsha senmon-ten, a "shop for beginners." I didn't believe that until the bath.
The system page lists the basic play as kissing, oral, full-body kissing, 69, sumata and finishing in the mouth. On 60-minute and longer courses, it states "unlimited finishes" in writing. Paid options are listed at ¥2,000 each (vibrator, masturbation show, take-home panties, pantyhose, urination play), and one heavier option is ¥8,000. I didn't add any. The listing's line about wanting to serve "tired bosses and juniors" fits. She was chatty, unhurried, and good at making 80 minutes feel like a conversation. Nobody checked the clock.
The house rules are posted and short. No honban (intercourse) or asking for it, nothing she doesn't want, no scouting, no gang affiliation, no drugs, and no showing up drunk. Break one and you're out. Read them once and you'll be fine.
What I'd Tell a Friend Before He Goes
- Get the password before you leave home. The best prices are only on the official site's daily phrase. Say "Homepage mita" (I saw the homepage) or "Heaven mita," whichever applies.
- Go before 7 p.m. for the 60. The morning 60 at ¥13,000 ends at 7 p.m. The 80 and 100 passwords run all day.
- Pick the 80, not the 60 plus an extension. It's cheaper and includes the bath.
- Budget the room. The shop says from ¥3,000 extra.
- Ask about the women who aren't in the album. The shop says it has some.
- Walk-ins until midnight, phone from 9 a.m. Number: 03-3807-9708.
- 18+ only. The shop states that no one under 18 works there and no one under 18 is admitted.
Summary
Mama Lemon Nippori is an old-fashioned hotel health in the best sense. You walk in, look at honest pictures in private, pay a clear price and go to a hotel down the street. What sets it apart is the photo booth and the password. The unretouched Polaroids, shown where you won't run into another customer, make choosing feel safe for a nervous first-timer. The daily passphrase takes ¥1,000 to ¥2,000 off, depending on the course. The best value is the 80-minute password course at ¥17,000, which includes the bath, before the cost of the room. Look up the word, skip the extension, and you'll pay noticeably less than the man who just walked in off the train.
