In Manhattan, the wine list tells you everything about a restaurant before the food shows up. You look for the cheapest bottle that isn't an insult. That's where the house tells you what it actually thinks of you.
So at ten past midnight, in a business hotel a few minutes' walk from Akasaka Station, I opened the price page for Akasaka Ma Cherie and read it like a wine list.
What the Club Says It Is
Ma Cherie calls itself a "Mrs. specialist" luxury hitozuma delivery club based in Akasaka. Hitozuma means married women, and in fuzoku it's its own genre, aimed at grown men who want a grown woman. The official site goes big. It says these women are a world away from your everyday housewife: "takane no hana," the flower on the high ledge you can't reach. Plenty of them, it says, have worked in entertainment, either now or in the past.
The roster backs up at least the résumé part. The profiles list backgrounds like ex-race queen, ex-model, ex-gravure, ex-weather caster, a cosmetics counter, a clinic receptionist, and current day jobs like nursery teacher, cram-school teacher and corporate receptionist. The posted ages run from the mid-twenties to the mid-thirties. It's a delivery shop with no storefront. They send someone to your hotel.
- Hours: 10:00 to 5:00 the next morning
- Phone: 03-6304-0973
- Booking: phone, a web form, or LINE
- Payment: the site says it takes all major credit cards and can issue receipts
The Ladder
Here's the wine list, straight from the official system page:
| Tier | 70 min | 90 min | 120 min | +30 min |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Mrs. Lavande | ¥30,000 | ¥40,000 | ¥55,000 | ¥20,000 |
| Mrs. Jasmin | ¥50,000 | ¥65,000 | ¥90,000 | ¥30,000 |
| Mrs. Iris | ¥70,000 | ¥90,000 | ¥120,000 | ¥40,000 |
On top of that, the travel fee starts at ¥5,000 for anywhere in Tokyo's 23 wards and at ¥10,000 outside them. They'll go elsewhere in the greater Kanto area if you call and ask.
The tier descriptions are where it gets interesting. Lavande is "stay-at-home wives and married women with regular company jobs" who passed the club's strict screening. Jasmin is women hired "through special introduction or recommendation," with glamorous backgrounds. Iris is the women who got through a door the club says lets in only a few percent of applicants.
Translation: you're not paying for a longer session or a different menu as you climb. You're paying for the résumé. The basic service list is the same short line for every tier: deep kissing, full-body licking, oral without a condom, 69, sumata (intercourse-free friction play) and dirty talk, all within the house rules.
I've been around long enough to know the gap between ¥30,000 and ¥70,000 is mostly a story. Sometimes it's a good story. I wanted to taste the house wine first.
Booking at Midnight
The web form is clean. It asks for your name, a member number if you have one, your email and phone, the date and time, the hotel or area, a cast member (or "no preference"), and the course. One detail I noticed: the form's course dropdown only offers 90 and 120 minutes, even though the price page also lists 70. If you want the short one, I'd call.
I called anyway, because at midnight a form sitting in an inbox feels like a message in a bottle. I asked for a Lavande-tier woman, 90 minutes, at my hotel. The man on the line was quiet, polite and fast. He confirmed the hotel name and my room, told me the arrival time, and that was it. Nobody upsold me to Jasmin. I respected that.
Total on paper: ¥40,000 for the course, plus a travel fee from ¥5,000. Call it ¥45,000 and up. That's real money. At a shop like this you're paying for the evening, not the minutes.
The Rules Are the Real Menu
Before she arrived I read the terms page. It's long, and it's the most honest page on the site. Break a rule and the session stops, she leaves, and you get no refund. The club also says that if it thinks it's necessary, it will walk you to the local police station with your ID.
The bans are the usual list, written plainly: no full intercourse and no pushing for it (even "negotiating" counts), no hidden cameras or recording, no pressuring her for her phone number or LINE, no surprise third person in the room, no toys or rough stuff without permission, and no keeping her past the end of the time.
The guest rules matter more for planning. You have to shower before play. The room has to have a bath or shower. You pay up front. And the club has to be able to reach you where you are. Show up drunk and you can be turned away. Cancel a few times and you can be blacklisted. I didn't see anything on the official pages that turns away foreign guests. The site even links to Heaven's English-language portal. Still, the phone is in Japanese, so have a translation app ready or use the web form.
Ninety Minutes in Akasaka
She knocked right on time, in a navy coat and low heels. She looked like she'd come from a work dinner where she'd been the most sensible person at the table. That's the hitozuma pitch in a single image, and they nailed it.
Payment came first, quick and professional, just like the rules said. Then the shower, which she made feel like part of the evening rather than a checkpoint. What I'll remember is the pace. Nothing was rushed. She talked like an adult. She asked how long I was in town and what I'd eaten, and she didn't fake an interest in Wall Street. When things turned physical, she was warm and unhurried, and she had a way of checking in with a look instead of a question.
Ninety minutes was the right call. At seventy you're watching the clock. At ninety the clock stops mattering.
Is the House Wine Good?
Yes. Here's what I'd tell a friend:
- Start at Lavande. It's the shop's honest baseline. If you like what you get, the higher tiers are a choice, not a gamble.
- Book 90 minutes. It's the shortest course on the web form anyway, and the jump from 70 is only ¥10,000.
- Budget for the travel fee on top. It's ¥5,000 at minimum inside central Tokyo.
- Pick a hotel with a proper bathroom and be easy to reach. Both are house requirements, not suggestions.
- Use a card if you like. The site says they take them and can give you a receipt.
- Prices, roster and rules change. Check the official system and terms pages before you call.
She left at the stroke of ninety. I stood at the window for a minute, looking down at the taxis on Sotobori-dori. Luxury, it turns out, isn't the top of the price list. It's when the cheapest bottle on the list is already worth ordering.
