The number on the sign, and the numbers in the receipts
¥2,980. It's the hero banner of the official site, in letters roughly the height of a human head, and the banner does not merely print the number — it prints Sōgaku. Grand total. The whole thing. That word is on the front door, and it is the reason this article exists.
The same figure is in the aggregator catchcopy and stamped onto thirteen separate women's cards on the roster. It is the entire public identity of ハンドキャンパス新宿 / Hand Campus Shinjuku — genre tag ヘルス(手コキ・オナクラ/新宿・歌舞伎町), ninth floor of the 第103東京ビル at 歌舞伎町1-14-3, above a Mita Seimenjo ramen shop, five minutes from JR Shinjuku East Exit, three from Seibu-Shinjuku, open 7:00 to 23:59, no closed days, phone 03-3207-5590.
Here's the thing about Cityheaven that shops don't seem to have fully internalized: the review form has a field called 料金の総額 — total amount paid — and a lot of customers fill it in honestly, itemized, down to which numbered option they bought.
So the shop publishes a price. And ninety of its customers, on the same page, publish what they actually paid.
I pulled all nine review pages and read every one of those fields. Ninety reviews carried a usable total.
| Amount | vs. the ¥2,980 sign | |
|---|---|---|
| Cheapest receipt | ¥2,980 | 1.00× |
| 25th percentile | ¥5,980 | 2.01× |
| Median | ¥7,980 | 2.68× |
| Mean | ¥8,866 | 2.97× |
| 75th percentile | ¥10,105 | 3.39× |
| Dearest receipt | ¥27,960 | 9.38× |
Two of ninety — 2.2% — paid the advertised ¥2,980. Four of ninety (4.4%) paid ¥3,980 or less. Sixty-nine of ninety (76.7%) paid at least double the sign. Thirty-six (40.0%) paid at least triple it.
The single most common receipt in the entire dataset is ¥5,480, appearing thirteen times.
Now the honest caveat, up front rather than buried: people who write reviews are not a random sample. They're engaged customers, they nominate specific women, they buy options, and they're the ones most likely to itemize a bigger bill with some pride. The true average walk-in is certainly cheaper than ¥8,866. But that cuts both ways — this is ninety self-reported receipts from the shop's own most enthusiastic customers, and two of them hit the number on the banner. Whatever the population mean is, ¥2,980 is not describing it.
Let's go find where the other ¥5,000 lives. It isn't hidden. That's the interesting part.
"There are no additional charges whatsoever" — printed as the last row of the additional-charges table
Open the システム tab. The first thing you see is a table headed
| Fee | Amount |
|---|---|
| W course | ¥1,000–2,000, charged per course |
And then, as the closing row of that same table, in the same bordered box, immediately beneath the four nomination fees:
ハンドキャンパス新宿はビデオBOX風ハンドサービスのお店です。全コース【個室利用料、プレイ料金】全て込みです。追加料金は一切ありません。 Hand Campus Shinjuku is a video-box-style hand service shop. All courses are fully inclusive of the private room fee and the service fee. There are no additional charges whatsoever.**
It's the last line of the fee table. The sentence saying there are no extra charges is physically inside the table of extra charges. It's on the official site's price sheet too, in the pink box at the very top, above everything else.
Is it a lie? No — read it precisely and it's airtight. Room and service are included; there is no additional charge for room or service. Every word defensible. It's just that a customer doesn't parse a sentence for its restrictive clauses. He reads 追加料金は一切ありません four centimetres under ¥2,980 and forms a belief about the size of his bill, and the page does nothing to correct him — while the thing that will correct him sits about two screens further down.
And remember the banner outside says 総額. A man who has read the word grand total on the front door and the phrase no additional charges whatsoever on the price page has been told, twice, in the shop's own words, that ¥2,980 is the end of the conversation. It is the beginning of it.
Forty-three options, ¥71,000 of them
Here is the option menu, exactly as published, on both the aggregator and the shop's own price sheet.
| Price | Options | Count |
|---|---|---|
| ¥1,000–3,000 (B course and above) | ㉝
| ¥2,000–3,000 (C course and above) | ㊵
Forty-three numbered options. ¥71,000 if you bought the entire board. Thirty-two of them carry no course restriction at all.
I want to sit with two entries.
A hug. Five hundred yen. And the shop's own price sheet — the official one, not the aggregator — specifies that the B, C and D courses each include, as a listed feature, A hug from the girl, three seconds. This shop has established, in print, that a hug has a market rate of ¥500 and a complimentary allowance of three seconds. I have read a great many price sheets in this industry and I have never seen one denominate affection in seconds. It is either the most cynical line on the page or the most scrupulously honest one, and I genuinely cannot decide which.
Being ignored. Silence. The same price as the hug. The menu charges identically for contact and for its total absence, which is either a deep insight into human desire or an accounting convenience, and again, I can't tell.
One more, from the costume page: fourteen outfits at ¥1,000–2,000 each, and then, at the bottom, 持ち込み料金1,000円 — bring your own costume, very welcome, corkage ¥1,000. You may supply your own costume, and they will charge you a thousand yen to let her wear the thing you brought. It's a rental business that charges you for not renting.
The rank tier that exists only on your bill
Go back to the fee table.
Now go to the roster and try to find out who is S rank.
You can't. I searched the full HTML of the 女の子一覧 page: the strings Sランク and SSランク appear zero times. They appear in the fee table on the shop top page, in the fee table on the システム page, and on the official site's price image. They appear on no woman's card, in no badge, in no filter, in no sort option. Fifty-six women on this board and no published way to know which of them costs ¥1,000 to nominate and which costs ¥2,000.
You can, however, reverse-engineer it from the receipts, and this is where the review data earns its keep. Look at what customers report for the identical order:
| Reported as | Total | Implied nomination fee |
|---|---|---|
Same course. Same stated line items. Three different totals, ¥1,000 apart end to end. The variable is a rank published nowhere a customer can read it before he books.
And note which one is the mode: ¥5,480, thirteen times — the S-rank fee, not the base one. The single most frequently reported transaction at this shop is a mid-priced course with a surcharged woman. That is what "¥2,980〜" looks like once it has passed through an actual cash register.
Every discount in the building is ¥1,000
The イベント page runs four promotions. Read them as a set:
| Promotion | What you get |
|---|---|
| 新人割 — rookie discount | +5 min or a ¥1,000 option free |
| 口コミ割 — review discount | a ¥1,000 option voucher |
Every single one is exactly ¥1,000. There is one discount denomination in this shop and it is a thousand yen, applied variously to a course, to an option, or to nothing at all.
Which produces two consequences worth watching.
First: the badges. The クーポン tab carries two priced coupons. One is B course ¥3,980→¥2,980, badged 25% OFF!!. The other is C course ¥4,980→¥3,980, badged 20% OFF!!. Both are ¥1,000. Cityheaven computes the percentage off whichever base the shop attaches it to, so the identical thousand yen renders as 25% on the cheap course and 20% on the dearer one. Nobody typed a false number. The system just makes the same discount look 25% better when it's stapled to a smaller price.
Both coupons print a row labelled 合計 — total — showing ¥2,980 and ¥3,980. Both coupons also print, in the conditions text underneath, ご指名料は別途1000円~かかります — nomination is extra, from ¥1,000. So the row headed total is not the total, and the coupon says so four lines below the row headed total. In the coupon's own table, the 指名料 row reads —.
Second, and this is my favourite thing on the entire listing: the new-customer special price table opens with this line.
Off
The headline course's new-customer discounted price is the headline course's price. ¥2,980 becomes ¥2,980. It's printed in a table of discounts, formatted exactly like the real discounts above and below it, with an arrow in the middle pointing from a number to itself. The shop isn't hiding anything — it hands you a ¥1,000 option instead, and says so. It's just that the discount ladder can't go below ¥2,980, because ¥2,980 is not a price at this shop. It's a floor. Everything in the promotional grammar here is a mechanism for arriving at ¥2,980 from above, and the one course already standing on it has nowhere to be moved.
Which is also why the morning discount skips the A course entirely.
The morning window: five women out of fifty-six
That ¥2,980 morning price is real. I want to be clear about that, because it's the most genuinely generous thing on the page. B course, thirty minutes of room, twenty of service, ¥2,980, and the coupon's terms are plainly stated.
It requires being seated by 11:59.
So I checked the 出勤予定 board against the window. Today, Sunday 30 August, nineteen of the fifty-six women were scheduled. Of those, the ones working any part of the discounted morning:
| Woman | Today's shift |
|---|---|
Five, out of fifty-six. By the time I was looking, ゆき and おと were already flagged 受付終了. So the shop's flagship price, on a Sunday, was available from a pool of five women, shrinking to three, plus ¥1,000 if you wanted to be the one choosing among them. The other fifty-one women on this roster cannot be had at ¥2,980 under any published combination of promotions, because they don't start until noon or later.
That's not a trick. Morning discounts exist to fill morning rooms and this one does exactly that. But "¥2,980〜" as the shop's entire public identity, resolving in practice to a three-to-five-woman window that closes before lunch, is a gap worth knowing about before you plan your afternoon.
Things in the receipts that appear on no price page
Reading ninety itemized bills turns up mechanisms that exist nowhere in either published price list. I searched the Cityheaven pages and the official site's price sheet for each of these. All returned nothing.
- 延長 (extension). Two receipts use it — 「指名料+Bコース+延長10分+ハグ」, ¥8,000, and one where a five-minute extension was offered free as an alternative perk. There is no extension rate published anywhere. The word 延長 appears zero times on the shop's top page, its システム page, its coupon page, and its event page.
- DWコース. One receipt reads 「DWコース※シャワー付き 70分+指名料」, ¥22,460. The published course table has A, B, C, D, AW, BW, CW. There is no DW. Seventy minutes and twenty-two thousand yen of course that isn't on the menu.
Two receipts itemize it explicitly: 「OP1,000円+OP3,000−OP2つ目半額1,500円」. A standing multi-buy discount, unpublished. (Amusingly, the two receipts carrying that identical breakdown report ¥8,450 and ¥8,480. One of them can't add up. The correct figure is ¥8,480.)
- クーポン(スタンプ) — a stamp card, referenced in one receipt, published nowhere.
None of this is sinister. It's a shop that runs its promotions verbally at the front desk and updates a PNG when it gets around to it. But it does mean the published price sheet is not a complete description of what you'll be offered, in both directions — there's money it doesn't warn you about and money it doesn't tell you you can save.
Two of the shop's own pages disagree about its headline by ¥1,000
The Suika Group site's description of this shop — same company, same domain, the page you land on before you enter — says this:
連日早朝7時からオープン、25分総額1,980円からリーズナブルに遊べるお店です。 Open daily from 7 a.m., with reasonable play from ¥1,980 all-in for 25 minutes.
¥1,980. For 25 minutes. Which is the A course's duration at ¥1,000 less than the A course's price — and ¥1,000 is, as established, the only discount denomination this shop owns.
Cityheaven's card for the same shop reads Aコース25分2980円~. The shop's own price image reads Aコース/個室ご利用25分(プレイ時間15分)/25分総額 ¥2,980. Those two agree with each other. The group page agrees with neither.
And the official site's price page, at /hand_campus_sh/system.html, headed 料金・サービス, contains — in HTML — not one yen figure. Zero. The entire price list is a single 703×4,114-pixel PNG, cache-busted to ?date=20260401. It's a good-looking image, it's complete and legible, and it is invisible to a screen reader, a translation layer, a price comparison, and a search engine. For a shop whose sole competitive claim is a number, putting that number exclusively inside a picture is a strange place to end up.
On the shelf, the same number buys 20% less
Five publish a headline with a duration attached:
| Shop | Card | Per room-minute |
|---|---|---|
Credit where it's due: Hand Campus writes Aコース25分 on its search card. It names the course and the duration, which れもんガールズ doesn't and which the shop is under no obligation to do. That's better shelf behaviour than most of what I read.
But look at the top two rows. れもんガールズ, same yen figure, five more minutes. ¥2,980 buys thirty minutes there and twenty-five here — the identical number, 20% more expensive per minute, sitting two cards apart on the same page. And 新宿手コキ研修塾 at ¥1,980 for twenty minutes is the cheapest per-minute on the shelf, which is also, by coincidence or otherwise, the exact figure Hand Campus's group site claims for itself.
One point genuinely in this shop's favour: both of its coupons print 入会金 0円, and I could find no membership fee anywhere. 新宿手コキ研修塾's card advertises its ¥1,000 入会金 being waived for Heaven readers — meaning it's a real fee there. Hand Campus doesn't have one at all. That's a thousand yen of goodwill on the correct side of the ledger.
The roster, since I had it open
Fifty-six women. Every one with a published age.
| Measure | Range | Mean | Median | Most common |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Age | 18–24 | 20.5 | 20 | 20 (×17) |
| Height | 145–174 | 156.8 | 156 | 153 & 156 (×6) |
| Bust | 78–98 | 84.3 | 83 | 82 & 88 (×13) |
| Waist | 55–59 | 56.5 | 56 | 56 (×27) |
| Hip | 80–98 | 85.7 | 84 | 83 (×11) |
Ages: 18 (7), 19 (8), 20 (17), 21 (10), 22 (5), 23 (7), 24 (2). Nobody over 24; thirty-two of fifty-six are 20 or under. Cups skew small by industry standards and honestly so — C 20, B 12, D 10, E 6, A 4, F 2, G 1, I 1 — with four A-cups published rather than rounded up, which is more candour than the average board manages.
The waist column does what the waist column always does. Height spans twenty-nine centimetres, bust spans twenty, and waist spans five, with forty-six of fifty-six (82.1%) reporting either 56 or 57. Whatever process produces the waist figure in this industry is not the process that produces the height figure, and you can watch the difference happen in any roster you like.
Filter counters, which are the cleanest numbers on any listing because the shop doesn't type them: 現在待機中or本日出勤 19, 新人 8, 写メ日記アリ 44, 口コミアリ 49, オキニトーク 46, 動画アリ 2. Two women out of fifty-six have video. Eight rookies is a healthy intake for a shop this size.
The review count on the shop card reads 1,387件. The forty-nine reviewed women currently on the board carry 1,016 between them, which means 371 reviews — 26.7% — belong to women no longer listed. Low turnover residue by the standards of this district; it's a real four-year book, not a padded one.
Speaking of four years. The catchcopy on the top page opens — already two years! The description below it says — has opened. The search-shelf blurb says — right now there's an opening-commemoration deal. And the group site says the shop opened 2022年3月.
Four years and five months. The "two years" line is off by two and a half years, and the opening campaign is old enough for kindergarten. It's the same failure mode as the price page: nobody has read this listing top to bottom in a long while.
What I'd actually do with this
Budget ¥6,000–8,000, not ¥2,980. This is the whole point. The median customer on this shop's own review page paid ¥7,980; the 25th percentile paid ¥5,980. If you want a specific woman, at a normal hour, with one thing off the option menu, you are in the ¥6,000–9,000 band and the sign was never describing you.
If ¥2,980 is genuinely the constraint, the morning B coupon is the play, and it's a good one. Thirty minutes of room, twenty of service, clothed bust touching, a three-second hug, first visit only, seated by 11:59, no nomination. That's ¥99.33 per room-minute — dead level with the cheapest shops on the shelf. You just have to accept whoever is on at nine in the morning, and today that was a pool of five.
Ask the rank before you nominate. It's a ¥1,000 swing between base and SS, it is published nowhere on the roster, and it's the single largest source of variance in the receipts. One question at reception, or in the online booking, and you know whether your ¥5,980 is about to be ¥6,980.
Ask about the second-option half price. Two customers report it. The published option table does not. If you're buying two options — and the reviews say most option-buyers buy two — that's ¥1,500 you'd otherwise pay for not knowing.
Ask what an extension costs, before you're in the room. It exists, people use it, and there is no published rate. Ten minutes in one receipt lands inside an ¥8,000 total. Asking beforehand costs you nothing; asking afterwards costs you whatever they say.
Per play-minute, the cheapest course in the house is not the ¥2,980 one. A works out to ¥198.67 per minute of service, B to ¥199.00 — statistically identical, meaning the ¥1,000 step from A to B buys you five extra minutes and the right to touch her over her clothes at no change in rate. The genuine bargain is BW at ¥7,480: ¥187.00 per play-minute, the lowest figure on the entire menu, for forty minutes across two women. And skip AW — at ¥5,980 it costs ¥20 more than simply booking the A course twice, with nomination charged per course either way, and gives you ten minutes less room time for the privilege.
If you go up the ladder, go all the way to the new-customer net-reservation course. ¥8,980 for the D-course spec — thirty minutes plus a shower, a free costume and ¥2,000 of options included — is the same course as the ¥9,980 D. It is D minus a thousand yen, which is, by now, the only move this shop knows.
Fifty-six women, seven in the morning, no membership fee, an option menu itemised to a degree most shops wouldn't dare, and a price sheet that tells you a hug lasts three seconds. I like this place more than this article probably reads. It is being let down by one number on a banner and a sentence in a table that the table itself disproves.
