Fuzoku, Horinouchi, Reputation

"Fuzoku, Horinouchi, reputation" — I figure some people hear that and immediately get it, while others don't.

At 42 I'm still out walking the floor of this world, so I'll lay it out from a real, on-the-ground perspective.

Why this topic matters

Information about fuzoku (Japan's licensed adult-entertainment business) is surprisingly disorganized. Beginners especially tend to end up not even knowing what to research first.

ElonAfter phimosis surgery and pearl implants, I've got the confidence of a man who's "ready for anything." My range in the room expanded, sure, but the psychological breathing room is on another level. To anyone agonizing over the modifications: do it, no regrets.

What that actually means

In a word: whether you know it or not changes the quality of the experience.

ElonHaving surveyed nightlife scenes all over the world, my conclusion is that "the richest night culture is the one rooted in the local culture." In that sense I think Japan's fuzoku is world-class. Not blind devotion — a verdict reached by comparison.

I'm writing down the essence of the knowledge I've built up over 20 years right here.
